Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA Concept

I am a big fan of the standard version of the Mito and think it is the only real rival to the Mini. Sales are strong and so are second hand values which can only be a good thing, if this MiTo doesn’t break the back of mini sales this time round nothing will. Comparing this GTA MiTo to the current Cooper S, i think the Alfa has it. However, what appeals to me more is the fact that only a handful of people will have this car compared to the Mini Cooper S and thats the real appeal.

It certainly helps that the MiTo looks just like the Alfa Romeo 8C, it wouldn’t surprise me if they made a loss developing the 8C – knowing that everyone would compare the MiTo to it. They could of developed the 8C and built 10 times the amount they have, but to get the desired impact they only produced 100. But it works, because the MiTo has the hearts of many young professionals, saving up trying to get a glimpse of what it’s like to own a very rare super car. And I say keep up the good work Alfa, more like this please.
